Ya I plugged it in, in fact I tried plugging it in as a system fan as well but still no luck, right now its plugged into the area marked CPU fan

Ive been using this zaliman CPU heatsink for a while now and when I took it off to put some new thermal paste on it it ran a bit noisier than usual. When I woke up this morning I turned my system on and my CPU was running 60+ degrees I soon found out that the CPU fan wasn't even spinning.

I started using my 9800 GTX+ and it works fine no crashes so far.

I tried a different driver and it still crashed

Nevermind guys I figured it out in the bios there was a setting "Onboard Audio" it was set to Auto. I set it to Enabled everything works now.
