I am not buying the new CPUs I am just asking for future proofing so I don't have to buy a new mobo when I upgrade. so would waiting be the better option still?

went for the xt for future proofing I guess but is it not worth for future proofing neither? can't really wait because i got a 50% bottleneck on my gpu

yeah i was going for the 3600x until the price dropped to 230 on both 3600x and 3600xt and the 10600k is a bit more expensive and would need a good cooler so thats why I chose the 3600xt
