[SOLVED] Should I have more intake fans because intake has dust screen?

So my intake fans, that came with the case have LED's, but the exhaust fans that I purchased do not. But because this is not out where noise is going to bother us, would it really hurt to just have them all plugged into the PSU going full speed? If I've got the three intake and only 2 exhaust...

[SOLVED] Should I have more intake fans because intake has dust screen?

Correct, in fact the fans I purchased separately are not LED fans at all, no lights. The front three supplied with the case have LED's, and the fan that came with my CPU cooler has LEDs. Wow, I'm pretty dumb. So I just realized that all the fans I have, with the exception of the cpu cooler...

[SOLVED] Should I have more intake fans because intake has dust screen?

Oh, and should I just plug all of them into the PSU so they run at max speed all the time?

[SOLVED] Should I have more intake fans because intake has dust screen?

Ok cool, I can do that, thanks! It's more of a room than a closet. When I finished my basement, I built our screen wall about 3 feet from the foundation so I could inset a media cabinet into the wall, and house all of my networking and A/V equipment back there. So it is about 3' x 20'. Also...

[SOLVED] Should I have more intake fans because intake has dust screen?

Couple of cooling questions here, but first off, an intro to this particular build. I'm using this case, with an AsRock B560M PRO4 mobo I think I got my cases mixed up when shopping, and thought this was one that had a lot more drive bays than it does. I'm not super pleased with it, and I...

    Using Wifi router as AP/switch

Sorry if this has been discussed thoroughly, I search through some threads talking a bit about it, but couldn't quite find a clear answer. I'm trying to plan my network rebuild in preparations for finishing my basement. Currently I'm going from my cable modem to my ASUS Wifi router, and...

PC freezing randomly at first, now won't boot

Well I thought I'd just pop in and update. I swapped out all hardware on the motherboard, and even had a compatible cpu. So I changed everything except the motherboard, and the problem was still happening. So I determined something was bad on the motherboard and just decided to dump it...

PC freezing randomly at first, now won't boot

Ha well I do have one more power supply I can try if you're still going with PSU. And I actually did replace the CMOS battery with a brand new one. Actually had a message saying it was dead and clock was not setting.

PC freezing randomly at first, now won't boot

Sorry if I'm posting this wrong, just trying to reply to your answer. Anyway, I did try another PSU, although it wasn't has high a wattage as mine. Mine is 500 watts, the one I tried was 300. It had pretty much the same results.

PC freezing randomly at first, now won't boot

Ugh, another PC freezing thread. It's been a long time since I've had to post a question on a tech forum for PC issues. I'm in the IT industry and am just always able to Google my way out of problems. But this one has really got me. The PC in question is running Windows 7 64-bit, AMD...
