I am planning to buy a new processor and for the sakes of saving a few $ i want to buy a i5 6600K The "K" because having the option to oc is nice. The problem however is that the local site from my country (Croatia) only offers one type of the i5 6600K and that type has "N/A" on the intergrated...

alright, i think i have an idea of putting some coils on the outer side of the magnet would that work ?

i dont know to laugh or to cry, the adapter isnt the problem, its the output current, its too low, how can i power something that requires lets say 60W, when i have a 50W supply at the max ?? dont you get it ? the coils arent powerful enough to make enough current/amps..---

it isnt tinker proof its old.. not even near those newer model generators.... look i cant just look for led's, when i would want to charge a phone i could go an connect it to my bike, when i wanted all the lights on without any worries my battery will drain i could... and no i cant afford a...

guys if you can still see this, if not i will just post a new question, could i just make a new winding, small or big i dont realy know. and put it somehow next to the original windings inside the magnet housing ?, because its a permanent magnet generator, and the magnet spins ? would that work...

i have looked at the led lighting and from what i see you need special headlight casings(i dont know the real name) and that they dont bright aswell as those h4 ones. yeah the ones that come off cars, 55W halogen ones H4 (55W long beam, 50W short beam). Dont worry i know i need voltage...

oh, we had a bit of a misunderstanding there, i was talking about my tomos moped... anyway its permanent magnet generator isnt good enough for the job in hand... it can generate up to about 50W, and that aint enough.... sorry... i just call it bike short for motorbike...

an ac to dc converter isnt hard to build at all... its only 4 diodes for a full bridge one..., could i just connect it to the battery ? for the excitation ? does it need to be excited at all times ? or just when starting ? And also, would it be better if it was more smaller windings, or less but...

i meant like if i put one winding around the shaft, and one winding hovering above, and i put the shaft on my bike and spin it, will i need a constant current flowing to the winding on the shaft, or just a little current to start it up ? or that wont work at all. like if i was to connect a 12V...

hmmm now you brought it up, could i even skip the permanent magnet and make 2 windings, one on a shaft that turns, and one as a stator ? and if that were possible, would i just need a little current to start it up and than it wouldnt need it ? or would it have to be on power at all times ?
