I have intel i5 6600 for almost 1 year...and it still running good up to now I'm using stock cooler..do i need to buy cpu cooler for better performance?

I am planning to upgrade my gpu to palit gtx 1070 dual 8gb.. Here is my current specs: Mobo:gigabyte z170m d3h Cpu: i5 6600 Gpu:palit gtx 1050 2gb Ram:8gb Psu:cougar 80+ 550w Can a 550w psu handle palit gtx 1070 dual 8gb? Or is there any problem about my upgrade?
