So what I need is to get the benchmaks of the laptops? As for hyperthreading, this is a way of making one core behave as 2? If that is the case, the core is not running twice as fast. Should that not be two threads working at half speed? Or is threading not the same as hyperthreading?

I am using W10 home edition on my laptop. I do know about i3, i5, i9 but what are the basic equivelents in AMD as I loved AMD.

I woldn't know how to get into the bios in a laptop. I am okay with PCs but laptops are alien to me.

I don't use the internal SSD as I use a memory stick to transfer the file form laptop to PC. The boot time is about 1 minute (8 seconds on my PC). SSD = 78G free of 245G. Maybe I am just used to a fast PC.

It is strange that when I click on the E: drive it shows a set of windows folders. But wundows is not on my E: drive. So that is wrong.

Res this was an image of C:\ which only has windows on it. It is a motherboard nvme card. The image was placed on one of my SSDs E:\ it has extension .mrimg

Sorted. I went into disk managment. It had partitioned it but not formated the other. Strange thing though. I used to find disk managent in older windows in control pannel. It used to be Device manager -> Disk manager. That seems to have gone unless disk manager has been moved somewhere else in...

I have just created a bootable USB from Macrium Reflect. Problem. I had a 16G USB stick. After creating the bootable USB it is now only 0.99G. Used 691 meg, free 328 meg. What gives here? It said it needed to be formated first so I said OK.
