    miniITX USB problems.

What motherboard are you planning to use? The motherboard should have one or two internal usb 2.0 headers. My Corsair H80i plugs into the internal usb 2.0 header, I would imagine the Krakens do the same so you don't need to run cables outside the case.

Problem with connecting my graphics card to my PSU

What he really means is you need to look at replacing your power supply with one that does have the correct connections. To add to that I would look at one which has the proper 6/8 pin PCIe power cabling as relying on the 4-pin molex is not a good idea as they are rarely capable of delivering...

My VPN wont' work over 4G, but will over my home WiFi

Assuming you're running the server at home, which IP address did you enter into the vpn client on your desktop? The IP address of you server or the external IP address of your router? It should be you router's external IP address. When I was talking about domain name I meant "example.com" and...

Are PSU to SATA internal power cables usually compatible between brands?

As someone who has quite a few modular and semi-modular power supplies from different manufacturers, you're walking into a minefield. The connectors that connect to the motherboard , hard drives, graphics cards and any PC side peripherals all use standard connectors. However, the connections...

My VPN wont' work over 4G, but will over my home WiFi

The thing about VPN is that it's meant for a roaming pc to be able to connect to your home network from a remote location. Your PC has no bother connecting to vpn while it is within your home network because it is directly connected to your server. Home wifi is still within your home network...

Is the dual GPU concept history?

I'm currently doing a reference GTX 980Ti, and it's slightly bigger than the Fury Pro dual, in a Silverstone SG05. The rear end of the card does get a bit toasty. :p

Backing Up a Basic GPT Disk to a Dynamic GPT Disk

I don't think your target drive will cause you much bother but your source drive could. IIRC, when you're in the Windows installation environment using the "repair your computer" options I don't think it can read dynamic disks.

Is the dual GPU concept history?

It's also worth noting you can fit a dual gpu card into a smaller case where you don't have the space for SLi or crossfire. Just imagine an ITX system with a dual gpu card, I'd probably do it if my case was a few inches longer.

Putting Existing Windows 7 Pro onto New System confusion

If you restore a system from a backup you are returning that computer to the state it was in when you made the backup. If the computer was running Windows XP Media Center when you made the backup then it's Windows XP Media Center that is restored, the same goes for your Windows 7 Pro Retail...

    RAID 1 Read Performance

Using CrystalDiskMark on a pair of RAID 1 (mirrored) SATA 3 SSDs (600MB/s) on an intel rapid storage technology controller I've had read speeds around the 800MB/s mark. So yeah, I think there's some merit to it. Write speed wasn't so hot though, it was more single disk speeds, but that's ok.

8 year old computer Steam VR Ready?

In this single test, yes but by a very small margin. The point of the benchmark wasn't to show which is best but to merely show they're in the same ballpark and that it's very high. To do a proper comparison the two systems need to be in a comparable state for OS version and patching, graphics...

8 year old computer Steam VR Ready?

Not really, I wouldn't take it as read. Apart from the graphics card the two system were completely different. The 920 was a very light setup with little more than the OS configured, it's basically a test rig now. The 5930K is a much heavier setup with multiple graphics cards, hard drives and...

How to Connect PC to Monitor AND TV

Should, yes. Guaranteed, no. Sometimes you get adapters that are incompatible. I'm actually using a bit of a custom setup on my own rig. I'm using a pair of the DVI-HDMI adapters, one to convert the DVI port on my graphics card to HDMI and another to convert HDMI to DVI on the back of my...
