Every benchmark/performance rating website rates the 960 above the 1050 Ti, why is this? And is it true?

I just bought the Gigabyte GTX 1050 Ti OC 4GB this card: https://www.pccasegear.com/products/37179 I don't believe it has a PCI-e 6 pin connector as it says N/A under specifications, I'm wondering if my motherboard could power it. My PC specs: GA-78LMT-USB3 Gigabyte Motherboard AMD FX 6300...
