i5-4690K is running mid 30s degC. Ambient temp in that room is pretty warm.

It's actually too big for the motherboard. It covered up the RAM slots. Also, I have a Rosewill Line-M case.

I'm looking for a cpu cooler for a i5-4960K mounted in on the Z97M OC Formula mobo. I bought the CM Hyper 212 EVO but it was too big. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the info and build options! I do have a question. It looks like MOBO only supports up to DDR3 1600, so could I find reliable DDR3 1600 RAM for cheaper? I undersstand the 2133 can work with the 1600. Update: The G Skill Sniper 2133 you listed is cheaper than the S Skill Sniper 1600...
