So I'm having an anomaly of a situation, I always assumed it was my RAM that would prevent my PC from starting up, then got a tip a few weeks back to unplug every USB item from my PC then boot, then it would work, which when done would do it. I would check the boot order too even with everything...

So i had problems with my PC today, couldn't get it to properly POST into Windows (still had access to BIOS). Ended up getting the problem resolved by trying out different RAM sticks from one of my friends. However, in doing so I ran into something really, really strange about my current MSI Z97...

Cleared the CMOS on my board, it reset to default but it's still giving me an error.

So today my PC decided to not boot into Windows today. I have an i7 4790k, MSI Z97 Gaming 5, and 2 pairs of 4gb sticks I've been using for the past few months in this rig. The debug screen on the board would cycle through debug codes 50-69, which are early memory and early/late cpu...

no bottlenecking, in fact the opposite, the 6300 will bottleneck the 380, from experience on my cousin's 6300+380 setup. Probably a good idea to turn on turbo core if your board is good.

if your PSU is a gold rated one, you'll be fine with an AMD r9 290 or a 390 (refresh version). The Nvidia equivalent of this card is a GTX 970, which is the choice I would go for if your PSU is bronze-rated just to be safe (but in theory you'd be fine with the 290 anyways)
