Well, the game doesn't utilize the CPU that much either... Core 1 works the most and never goes over 70% load (Usually40-50). So the problem is the game not putting enough load on my hardware, only using a small percentage of it, and this causes poor performance.

I'm pretty sure those are correct, yes. It's a fairly cool laptop and i'm using a cooling pad. The air that the fans blow out isn't very hot. Temps were monitored with MSI Afterburner and GPU-Z

I have the same laptop but with a different processor. What were your temps before the repair? Have you checked the temperature when running demanding applications such as games? 70 celsius while idling is quite high. If you don't already have it i recommend a cooling pad since the y510p...

So i found out why the gpu usage was 99%. The gpu core clock goes down to 135 mhz. I have no idea why.

**EDIT** So i checked the nvidia gpu load and apparently it doesn't go down below ten like GPU-Z showed, in fact it goes up to 99%. That's where my fps drops, at 99% gpu usage. All my cores are being utilitized, the vram and the ram aswell. So low fps at high gpu usage and low temps. I'm clueless

As i wrote in the text i monitored the gt840m usage (with GPU-Z) and it drops below 10% and stays (GTA 5). But in CSGO, a significantly less demanding game, the right card is ALWAYS 90%<. So just to be clear: In GTA 5 the game plays fine when the Nvidia GPU usage is fine. Then the usage drops...
