driver issue, do a clean install. uninstall all versions and revert back to generic driver, boot in safe mode and remove the rest of the driver install software, clean install, then open ticket with nvidia. They are quick to respond

if your card is supposed to support that function, try doing a clean driver install. delete all drivers and boot machine in safe mode and completely delete drivers and do clean install

the direct ii is the stronger of the two, the evga offers step-up program

two scales nicely, 3 dosent like to play well together. thats with and sli or crossfire setup. seems like budget isnt an issue so just get two of the fastest cards
