The X870-P board was bad. No joy on retest.

Spoke to soon. Seems the first boot is merely 20 min long to enter BIOS on the X870-E mainboard. Will retest the X870-P board.

Having the same issue with a 9900X processor on an ASUS Prime X870-P wifi motherboard. Was able to use the flashback usb key to update BIOS. Screen came up into BIOS- showed processor, RAM, M.2 drive. Saved an exited. Then machine went back to the same behavior. Could flashback again and...
