$1300 for a large 1080P notebook display and an 8GB VRAM GPU with 384GB/s of bandwidth is pretty crap... You are better off saving some cash and going with a Geforce 5060Ti notebook and upgrading next year.

I expected more CPU's and GPU's (I.E. Numbering in the thousands or hundreds of thousands) to really garner the "Super computer" moniker. This is just like a glorified rack server...

Definitely a 50/50 graphics card. Waste of sand. Can't convincingly beat the old Radeon RX 7600 8GB. You would probably be better off buying a Radeon RX 6600XT for a lower price.

Wifi 6e can do 9.6Gb... Provided you are using 6 GHz band in addition to the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. Interference tends to be the biggest smasher for Wifi speeds. I know my Wifi 6 isn't even blinking an eye and that is with 1Gb Fibre. But even if you are only getting 3Gb wifi speeds, you are...

Wouldn't waste my time or money. The main bottleneck for Wifi speeds tends to be internet... This upgrade is really only relevant if you are doing lots of large file transfers across a network which can saturate the Wifi link.

And AMD just released a new AM4 X3D chip. DRAM is a commodity market and prices have always been based on supply/demand with a sprinkle of price-fixing... Prices always rose when manufacturers moved onto the latest and greatest. This time around though you can add Tariffs to the uncertainty.

As per my comment, if you can find a single slot, low profile Radeon 6600XT... I will eat my hat. Some of the best super-budget gaming rigs are the old workstations from Dell/HP that you grab from Ebay which you just drop in a cheap GPU into, unfortunately they only take half height cards more...

Voodoo, Voodoo 2 and Voodoo 3 was iconic. I still have a Voodoo 2 actually. Been keeping an eye on ReactOS, if it's not as flakey as Win9X, I might make the move one day for my Retro PC.

Sold my Radeon RX6600XT 8GB for $50 AUD... Just wanted to get rid of it ASAP as it was terrible for Oblivion Remastered. The era of 8GB cards is over. Was a great card when I bought it in 2021, 4 years ago during the Crypto Boom (Using money from the sale of my RX 580 8GB as a cheap upgrade.)...

You are comparing Z1 Extreme against the Z2 Go and are amazed at the performance? Of course the Z1 Extreme is going to be faster. It's got twice the cores, twice the cache, probably faster GPU clock. But it will fall short of the Z2 Extreme devices (Which you didn't use in your comparison)...

That's more bandwidth than some GPU's. DRAMless GPU's incoming? (Unlikely, bottlenecked by System Memory.) For the average consumer it's pretty useless at this stage outside of low-PCI-E lane devices like SSD's.
