Front intake fans are only good for cold air on the HDD. Otherwise you be better of having the same fan at the back blowing out. But I guess the engineers making all the laptops on the market, as well as the people behind xbox etc. are all wrong. You are the guru. I will at once move my fans...

If you want a faster handling computer I think a dualcore CPU is better than a fast harddrive-although i have no experience of it just hearsay. Dont buy a alucase, no gain in that? Buy a thickplated steelcase instead.

Well there are a few things to think about, that blabbermouths like Rugger dont think of. There is EMI, RFI that are the reason you have small openings in a case! :wink: Also, I dont trust ANY of the silly fans on graphics cards anymore....they are buit to fail so you have to buy a new card...

Just get an Artic cooling vga silenser. They are the best. Normal VGA-fans are crap, i belive they are actually made to break down....

U have 2 front fans? Unnessesary. Front fans are in principle worthless, unless that is they are blowing on the hdd. Fans drawing air out of the case is the way to go. Remove any sucking fans (unless they blow on the hdd which needs to be cool) and have a fan at the back instead.

i WOULD BUY A artic cooling vga silencer , a lot quieter and exspells the hot gpu-air out of the case. Besides your vgafan will soon fail, they all do, and maybe frie your card. that should be enough, you might even remove the front fan if the hdd doenest go up in temp.

Act quickly. There is only one thing to do. Buy an Artic cooling VGA Silencer.(model 1) Dont run ATItool because its artifactschecking can heat up the gpu so it burns if the cooling is less than 100%. /Been there, done that...
