    Acer Aspire M5-581T-6405 Battery Not Detected!

    I have an Acer AS5742z-4512 P6100. My fix was to uninstall all battery items in Device Manager and then reboot. The BIOS then was able to see the battery and I was able to update the BIOS. I hope this helps. -pete
