[SOLVED] Asus Sabertooth Z77 Motherboard Dual Monitor Support??

Dual monitor's work now!!!! The active displayport adapter was it!!!! Without DP++ it can't drive the HDMI. So in lieu of that you need the active displayport. Product I purchased is below. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MZ6UT21/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

[SOLVED] Asus Sabertooth Z77 Motherboard Dual Monitor Support??

Another thing I just remembered when I had just the displayport connection in and hit f2/delete to get into BIOS. I noticed all the edges of the monitor were lit like something was trying to display but everything else was dark. So hoping it is some power thing that the active port can solve...

[SOLVED] Asus Sabertooth Z77 Motherboard Dual Monitor Support??

From what I read, if there is DP++ support there would be a logo next to the connector and I don't see that on my desktop. That connection panel came with the motherboard. So would that mean I needed an active converter such as this...

[SOLVED] Asus Sabertooth Z77 Motherboard Dual Monitor Support??

The other monitor is an Acer monitor and is pretty new. Unfortunately it does not have a DisplayPort connection. So that's why I purchased an HDMI to DisplayPort cable. The cable I purchased says it is unidirectional.

[SOLVED] Asus Sabertooth Z77 Motherboard Dual Monitor Support??

Hmmm, my primary monitor is actually a Samsung TV which I inherited and putting to good use. In device manager it is showing up as Generic PnP Monitor so maybe that has something to do with it. I tried disconnecting the TV to see if it would force to the other monitor but it did not. I don't see...

I do notice the BIOS Screen briefly flashes on the other monitor before it boots to my main monitor on the HDMI port. I press Start Key + P and extend but nothing happens however. I am not sure about the other windows settings. I did go into device manager and right click on monitors and scan...

[SOLVED] Asus Sabertooth Z77 Motherboard Dual Monitor Support??

BIOS I have is 2104, sorry got that wrong. I did disable the multi monitor setting and change the memory of the iGPU from Auto to 1024 but still no luck. My other thought is that I am using an HDMI cable with a dongle that converts from HDMI to DisplayPort and that may not have some necessary...

[SOLVED] Asus Sabertooth Z77 Motherboard Dual Monitor Support??

I have a desktop with an Asus Sabertooth A77 mobo that I built a few years back. People seem to indicate that dual monitor support will work when using both integrated displayport and hdmi ports. I have updated the BIOS to (latest found) V2004 and turned on iGPU Multi-Monitor in the BIOS. I...

    Multiple Wireless Monitor Suggestions

I am looking to set up a bunch of wireless monitors/screens that would be located at different locations in a facility that I could refresh with different information periodically. Any ideas for hardware? I looked at Ultra Mobile PC's but don't want a keyboard that someone could potentially mess...
