well my guess would be that encoding would see some performance increase but games you will be gpu limited. It also sounds to me that you dont have a choice if your giving your current setup to your dad. also from what i understand that motherboard is useless for anything but stock speed

get the 915, there is no good reason for the d805, even with stock cooling the d915 is a much better cpu. E6300 is just a bad idea unless you can get a good overclocking motherboard, and dont think you'll find one your your budget with your requirements.

well of course a kit from danger den would be ideal,otherwise you can leave the extrafan radiator on the outside, maybe even mount it on the outside. But the 745 and gigabyte watercooling kit are the only premade kits to go with for that cpu

I have nero and dvd shrink 2 and used alcohol 120 and it takes a long time to go through the whole process <maybe 45 min>(not the actual burning) it looks like it only uses a combined 27% of both cpu's I have the priority set to highest. Is there any settings or any ideas out there. by the way...
