Ok, ok if I can get an i5 3570k+z77 extreme 4 for ~$400 would that be a good deal (comparatively) The stock is limited so I need to make up my mind quick

One thing to note is I'm not an enthusiast, I wont be overclocking too high and I dont care about the latest and greatest, I dont see myself upgrading my pc (apart from storage) for at least 5 years to come if it lives that long.

I read that you can clean the flux using rubbing alcohol I am having another old wd 80gb which the pcb is discolored pretty bad but seems to be working fine The max temp the hard disk reached was 42C, is this bad?
