    Question VR GPU - GTX 1060 6Gb, GTX 1070 or RTX 2060

Thanks, the cpu, mobo etc is next on the list. And the 2060 sounds like it'll be a good investment for a future cpu upgrade.

    Question VR GPU - GTX 1060 6Gb, GTX 1070 or RTX 2060

Thanks Aeacus, that confirms my thoughts. Seems if I'm gonna upgrade the extra £99 for a 2060 over a 1060 prob makes a lot of sense altho may be not to my bank balance!

    Question VR GPU - GTX 1060 6Gb, GTX 1070 or RTX 2060

Hi, I'm looking to get into VR with a Lenovo Explorer HMD. I home built my system back in 2012: i7 3770 (non K) on a Z77 Mobo 32 gb RAM DDR3 120Gb SSD Windows bootable 1TB SSD 2 x 2 TB HDD 7200RPM in Raid 0 GTX 650 1 GB (I know. . wasn't even great in 2012!) In the future I'll upgrade the...

    Used I7 3770 <£100

Thanks everyone. Def upgrade the GPU as planned, then if there's a i7 3770 cheap on eBay I'll look at that otherwise will eak out my i5 3470 as long as possible before upgrading the system.

There have been a few 3770 on eBay for crazy cheap money so if I can get one of those i may just keep it stored as a back up to the i5.

Thanks for the replies. I thought that maybe the situation. In which case prob look at upgrading the GPU for the time being, use it until the system is completely un-vr-able in the future then build a new pc with the latest system then. Thanks again.

Hi, I built my own Ivybridge system in early 2013. System below. I had expected to upgrade the whole system by now but it appears the old adage that PCs half in price and double in performance every few years has now clearly ended. (Mining & Smartphones I understand pushing prices and I...
