Inexplicable avg. 1 second long system freezes

Well, the problems have stopped for some reason unknown to me and you are the only one that answered. And thank you for the firmware. EDIT: Turns out I already have the latest firmware installed. The SSD isn't even a year old and the latest update is from 07/02/14.

Inexplicable avg. 1 second long system freezes

Hello, I have written about this already once here, but more strange things have happened since. So my system specs are here: Intel Core i5 4590 8 GB Kingston RAMs stock speeds MSI GTX 970 MSI B85-G41 PC Mate Kingston SDD Fury 128GB Seagate Barracude 7200rpm Seasonic S12II 520W Now. The...

Is my GPU causing system freezes?

Hello, about a year ago I have purchased a GTX 970 and a bit sooner than that I bought a Corsair VS550 PSU (I know it's not very good now). Now, like a month ago my system started to freeze for about a half second and then it just runs normally, which isn't even annoying, but it had me worried...

Internet connection keeps on dropping randomly for short periods of time

Hello, My internet connection sometimes drops for no apparent cause. Sometimes it works just fine though. I do not usually notice this, but when I'm playing an online game or using RDP (which I do quite often for work) it becomes really annoying. I contacted my ISP and they were very...

    Games are not running smooth

I was thinking about upgrading my PSU. Is that really going to help? How do you know what PSU do I have?

    Games are not running smooth

Yeah I tried that. It helps (not the smoothness shown in the video, but that's probably caused by the weaker CPU) in a way, but I'm getting this thing I call heavy input. Imagine holding a weight and trying to move your arm. That's the kind of effect, if you know what I mean. If that didn't...

    Games are not running smooth

Hello, I am running a GTX970 and a FX-6300 OC'd to 4.4GHz, but when I play some game (Far Cry 3 for example) I easily get over 60FPS (80 on average), but the game isn't as smooth as I would like it to be. I would like my game to be as smooth as this: (he's spanish probably, but whatever, it's...

    Will the Corsair VS550 handle a GTX970 and OC'd FX-6300?

Well, thank you all. I will try it, who knows, maybe it won't bring the boost I wanted and I'll return it to its stock speeds. http://www.seasonicusa.com/M12-EVO-Edition.htm - would this be a good replacement? (520W version)

    Will the Corsair VS550 handle a GTX970 and OC'd FX-6300?

    My other GPU was HD7750, i think it's consumption is about 30 - 40% of the 970.

    Will the Corsair VS550 handle a GTX970 and OC'd FX-6300?

Hello, I have this rig, mentioned in the title, and everything is running just fine. Now, I would like to OC my CPU, to like 4,4GHz, raising the voltage by about 0,06. (I know this works, I had it OC'd once with a weaker GPU) Would the PSU handle that? If it shortens it's lifespan by even 50%...

    Alienware x51 r2 graphicscard upgrading

Hey, well, to make it feel like a real upgrade you would wanna use a R9 280 or GTX770. That would be the most appropriate for the rest of your PC. You would be able to play almost anything when using this HW, even Unity on some decent details. The problem here would be the PSU. You would need...
