I am upgrading my computer and just want to make sure I'm not about to waste money on parts that won't be compatible with each other.

I want to get another monitor, and my GPU apparently has 2 hdmi ports except one of them has a tab in it with a no symbol on it, I don't know if this means I shouldn't use the hdmi port or if the tab in the port is just a placeholder.

I bought a computer a while ago and it came with an AMD Radeon R9 260 graphics card, but recently I got a GTX 950 and I keep getting software updates for the old one and it's getting annoying, so would it be fine to just uninstall the AMD software?

I've heard that if I'm using a desktop I don't need a 48v phantom power supply, but my mic quality is pretty bad and it's very quiet, so I'm assuming my desktop can't properly handle it? I don't know anything about microphones. Guess I should have mentioned this but the microphone is a Floureon...
