i just got a motherboard from newegg, and i got 2gb of ram in 512mb sticks, but in dimm socket number 4 the one pin is pushed out into the channel. i tried to push it back in place but dont have anything small enough, and i dont wanan ruin my board, any ideas? plz help :lol:
i have PC x800gto and the only game i play is world of warcraft, and after about 30mins in game, the screen will go crazy with these black and white squares everywhere, and i cant see anything, the ATI GPU crash thing doesnt come up or doesnt restart. it only does it when i play wow, i tried...
I'm having problems with ATI tool, i have the PowerColor x800gto 256mb, 256bit, and it wont overclock past 415core/513mem, (400/499 stock) when it reaches 415 the monitor just goes black then the computer restarts. any tips? :?:
Think of the "x" as a "10" and it might help you. Bigger numbers generally higher performance. x1k is current gen, x800 is previous gen and 9xxx are gen before that.
In the 9xxx days the "pro" suffix indicated the highest performance model. At least with the 9700 anyway. I think there...
