My other pc has 1600Mhz memory but also shows a frequency of ~667 Mhz. Shouldn't this be 800? Oh, and another question: can I put 1600Mhz ram on a mobo that only supports up to 1333Mhz? Will it just run slower or will it not work at all?

Hi Currently my pc has got 4gb of ddr3 1333Mhz ram memory (Kingston). I don't game or video edit on this pc but since I tend to multitask a lot, my current ram usage is about 3,63gb on average. I'm figuring that upgrading to 8gb will make things faster. Am I right on this? My motherboard...
