Why does my i7 8550u only run at 1.99ghz?
My i7 8550u has a base frequency of 1.18ghz and a turbo boost of 4.0ghz. For some reason in the task manager it says the maximum cpu speed is 1.99ghz, why is that? And also why does my cpu not turbo up to 4.0ghz? My laptop is a Lenovo ideapad 720 AMD Radeon RX 550 i7 8550u 16 ram
