Just tried it, it actually doesn't turn on the rgb lights at all.

I did not notice if there was any plastic part around the wire. I straight out yanked It yet. Should. I not use it at all if its not solder

Did I screw something up by pulling them apart? How can I fix this?

This plug was connected to a RGB strip inside my case. I had to plug it out to install a new liquid cooler. I plug it back in after the installation, and it's now not turning on the RGB strip. Can anyone please tell me what's its called? The 3 tiny pins plugs into 3 holes. Picture linked below...
