with a adapter it should work easily but you also have to modify your mobo socket cause the cutouts are in different positions (and put the processor triangle to triangle on the socket)...

I can get pretty sweet deal and for like 100$ make the upgrade with 6600k (if I sell the 4670k, motherboard and ram - considering avg. prices I can take for the parts). Is it worth it? I do a little of everything and don't feel at all that I need more power but the deal is so tempting ;)
