Corsair RM850x V2 PSU Review: Smaller And Quieter!

At last some scoring at the review conclusion!! I always considered the lack of score as Tom's greater weakness about their reviews !!

EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G3 PSU Review: Excellence Evolved

    nice PSU but it's unacceptable for a 650watt PowerSupply to have only 1 EPS connector.(EDIT: BeQuiet's 550watt DarkPowerPro11 has 2-EPS!! https://www.bequiet.com/en/powersupply/611 ) Even older AM3+ motherboards such as the ASUS CrosshairV Formula-Z that my brother has, use an 1x8 & 1x4 ATX12V...

EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G3 PSU Review

140$. Exactly the same cost with Corsair's RMx1000 current pricing. Not sure which unit i would choose between those 2.

EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G3 PSU Review

The reviewed PRIME series belong to a different category. They are "Titanium effiency" while this one is "Gold". Seasonic will release Gold units as well, but they haven't been reviewed so far, so we have to wait and see first before we can start comparing.

EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G3 PSU Review

For those looking for an "80+ Gold efficient PSU", probably they won't have to look elsewhere. LeadexII seems amazing platform!!

Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB 750W PSU Review

Extremely & pleasantly surprised by the results considering the fact that the OEM of this unit (*Sirfa) isn't considered among the best ones(*more likely a mediocre one, based on their history). But apparently Thermaltake managed to take the best possible results from an -only- adequate OEM such...

Excellent article Aris. I agree with you 100% !! P.S. The pole at the end of the review, which says: ""was this helpful"", is it reffering at this article right?

The Complete History Of Star Wars PC Games (Archive)

Where is StarWars: Galaxies ?!!?( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars_Galaxies ). This was the most complete StarWars online game/experience ever, with hundreds of thousands of subscribers!! (*i was devastated when Lucas decided to shut it down in order to promote SW:TheOldRepublic which...

    Corsair CX750M PSU Review

If i was short on budget i wouldn't hesitate to use Corsair's CX-M line of PSUs. Solid units for that kind of price. I don't expect to have Seasonic PRIME 750's performance with 80$ !!

Thermaltake Toughpower DPS G RGB 850W PSU Review

-It's not exactly a PSU-related question but more likely a general one. From the pictures from the monitoring software, i can notice that this software is able to measure CPU and GPU temperature. Do you have any idea if such monitoring is (relatively) accurate? -Excellent review Aris !!

Seasonic Prime 850 W Titanium PSU Review

Just like Aris stated at his review, i find it amazing how Seasonic managed to generate such a low ripple values without using cable-in capacitors like the rest of the companies do !!

    APC BX1000 Click-of-Death Repair

This example showed us the importance of high quality caps to be used in such critical components such as a UPS/PSU. A single cap-failure (*from the many a UPS uses) and caused total malfunction of the UPS !! P.S. This review has also shown us the importance/need for UPSs reviews. Since PSUs...

SilverStone SFX Series SX700-LPT PSU Review

Purely disappointing!!. A permanent flaw (false power-good signal), combined with a periodical flaw (far out of specs ripple if this unit gets overloaded), are more than enough evidence in order for me to conclude that this PSU is a potential danger for the rest of the hardware!!. Once more...
