Same. Whenever I use Firefox or Chrome Incognito mode it works fine, but even if I disable every single one of my extensions it still acts weird. This makes me think that it has to do with cookies, because in a browser I use a lot (Chrome) it breaks even with extensions disabled, but in Incog...

Yes. AMD integrated graphics do tend to be a bit better, but the best value I know is the R5 5600G which is a little pricier than the i3-12100, IIRC. And the intel graphics are, once again, perfectly fine for your friend's use.

Yes, the 12100 has integrated graphics. The UHD Graphics 730 (integrated in the 12100) is perfect for sending emails, watching YouTube, and internet browsing. NO GAMING though, I've benchmarked the faster version (UHD 770) and it barely got 60fps at the LOWEST settings.

Yes but the 5600x is pretty much the same as the 5600, and the 5600 is usually $25 cheaper. And if you save enough money on the CPU and other parts you can go to a 3070 or 4060/4060ti.

I don't ever activate windows, thats why I didn't factor that in my link. And I agree, 256 is getting a bit small in 2023, so 512 is a good upgrade. Also you can get the "cracked" windows keys for under $15 if you really want to remove that watermark.
