    Just tried a TP link router, it didn't connect to the internet at all. Tried it direct to the broadband cable and via the open reach box... Nothing! I'll try the above tomorrow, right now I need a drink or ten. Thanks for everyone's replies 👍

    Yeah i've got a mate who lives local who's willing to lend me one. I tried 2 old routers: BT Hub 3 and an old TT one but neither would work at all - I have a feeling that nothing will work without the open reach modem

    Just googled and apparently TT don't support ipv6. Where would the setting be on the router if it did?

    You'll have to forgive me I'm not sure what the ipv6 is referring to.... When I logged on to the router I noticed ipv4 referenced. So I tried bypassing the router and plugged the pc and then PS4 directly into the modem and they both work straight away. Struggling to wrap my head round all this...

    Also on Hub settings it says port 1 (which is PS4) is down. Port 2 & 3 are my PC's. When i turn the PS4 on, it thinks there is no network cable plugged in and won't even try to connect... Port 1...
