No im not fan of AMD. Is there big difference between i5 and i7? Mybe i could spend 100e more for i7 if its worth.

So i have AMD phenom x6 II 2.8Gb and motherboard that supports AMD3. Proc is over4 years old and i have to replace it, cuz its performace decreased alot. Can someone tell me what combination of Motherboard/CPU should i buy, because AMD3 socket cant be used for amd fx ones.

So over last few months, my computer's performance significantly decreased. It was working good for 4 years and now i have no idea what to do. If i play a game, there is always FPS drop every few sec and when i watch movies sometimes screen freezes for short duration. my specs: HD 5870 1Gb AMD...
