    By the way, this sound just stopped coming from the PSU. I hope to never hear it again.. P.S.: The problem might actually have been from lower voltages coming from my power grid.. There was a storm and there was a blackout once and maybe the normal voltages have just restored recently..

    Update: Got it working by deleting the swap partition, extending the /dev/sdb3 partition and then adding again the swap partition and then finally, clicking on Swapon.
