In my current setup, I'm running a single stick 16gb RAM at 3000MHz (Even though the model is marketed at 3200MHz, I never managed to make it work at said frequency). The other stick I'm planning to buy is also labeled as "3200MHz", however I'd use it in 3000MHz config.

Me neither, I thought the watermark was just a stupid annoyance to make you buy Windows, but I googled it specifically and, sure enough, watermark pops up 3 hours after startup, and it introduces some sort of a vsync lock. The timings add up, and are in line with what I expected. Weird for sure...

[UPDATE] I figured it out. Kind of. I noticed the "Activate Windows" watermark appearance corresponds to the input lag. Forced Vsync was the culprit. Called up MS support and they sorted out the activation problem. Thank you anyway, this was a stupid one.
