$1300.00 but that's for everything but a screen and software

Which parts do I wanna drop more money into? I would like to go with the i5 3570k and go from there! But obviously I'm a noob and I was looking up specs and that one seemed decent!

I see people building an entire pc for like $800 and I plan on putting around $1200-1400 into mine. Is that going to be a decent one or should I just not bother cause I can't spend more than that on everything?

Hello, I'm building a gaming pc and I'm going to have it built with in the next 8 weeks so I'm starting with a few pieces at a time. I have $600 and want to try and get the processor, motherboard and graphics card with that! Then ill get the rest later. Please help I'm completely lost
