OK I know, I know.....but request advice and ask your patience......is a graphics card upgrade going to help me? I only do Arma 3, DCS World, and X-plane? If so what is a good option? or should I wait to save for a new complete build? - Thanks. Asus Z87 PRO LGA 1150 Motherboard G.SKILL...

Motherboard FSB spec is 800/1066/1333 but compatible memory spec is 800 MHz

Can I use higher clock memory in the ASUS IPIBL-LB? HP web site says FSB spec is 800/1066/1333 but compatible memory spec is PC2-6400 800 MHz. I probably don't know what I'm talking about but why have a bus that interfaces w/the memory at higher than the memory spec. I thought they would be...

Thanks for answering guys. VERY helpful! Well I went to the Nvidia control panel and my scaling options are aspect ratio, full screen, and no scaling then perform scaling on display or GPU. So I think i want no scaling. My TV has size selections of: 16:9, Screen Fit, wide fit, and 4:3...

Laptop manual says nothing about it. I have searched and searched for anything like drivers for a LCD tv and don;t get anything. Everytime I plug it up device manager installs a "Generic PnP" and a "Generic Non PnP" monitor with highest resolution of 1280 x 800 and everything else grayed out...

    Router with on demand Wi-Fi

Here's an idea. How about a router that sits and listens for an SSID and password. And then only transmits when it picks up those two items. Sure hiding the SSID is a good measure. But isn't the router still sitting there blasting away trons into the air for no reason when everyone is away...

WRT54G used as a switch now can't find its IP address

What's funny is I started this whole thing because I needed to get access to the 54G because I could not get remote assistance to work with a computer that was behind the 54g (it's acting as a switch). So I wanted to admin in to see what settings I had. So I spent all my time trying to figure...
