Sorry! I miss-read BF4 as BF3!

Have you tried re-installing BF3? Do you use any mods or anything like that with it? Other people have noticed performance drops with some BF3 updates. Is singleplayer doing the same thing?

Hmm. Your PC should handle BF3. Have you got anything running in the background? Recording software? Are the CPU temps high? Have you scanned for viruses etc?

Have you made sure the BIOS has enabled iGPU? (Integrated Graphics)

First, check that it is installed correctly. You may have forgotten to plug the power in, etc... Then check the following: Can the drive be seen in the bios or windows device manager or better yet, windows explorer? So far I can only think of is needing a jumper, or power/SATA cable not...

Good to hear. Could have just been a product they use on the heatsink or something. I never had that happen to any of my GPU's though. All I had was new plastic smell flowing through mine.

It could just be the smell of the new card getting warm, but I would keep checking around because a fire isn't fun to deal with. Can you confirm the smell is only from the GPU? Have you checked the wall socket? Lastly, monitor the temps in your GPU with GPU-Z.

You currently have DDR2 in your PC, so that is most likely to work. DDR3 actually has a different pin configuration (pins are the golden contacts on the RAM) which means it won't fit in a DDR2 slot, but some motherboards have both slots for DDR2 and 3. Can you tell us your motherboard model and...

That mobo allows for DDR2 or DDR3 to be used individually. If you are mixing DDR2 and 3 then it will not work. Can you give any more details on your PC?
