I'm just speccing out a new build with an Asus Z97 Pro and Noctua NH-D15. The Noctua comes with a low noise adapter, is this still an option to use if I use the Fan Xpert3 CPU fan header or will the motherboard handle the noise reduction by limiting the PWM fan speed?
