    Alright I'll buy one and see how it goes. Thanks a lot for the input. I find it strange that the lack of a display port cable toggles the recognition of the monitor off. It ought to still recognize it as a vg248qe as a opposed to the pnp monitor.

    I have the vg248QE, but I'm not really sure what this means in terms of cables/hz. I ran it at 144 hz previously :(((( And to the other post nvida control panel only allows a mas of 60 hz in the 1080p sections for both PC and Ultra HD
