Isn't everything on Steam converted from USD anyway? So if I buy a $30USD game for 120,000 Rubles, or whatever, and sell it to my mate in Australia where the game is $45AUD, aren't Steam still getting the equivalent of $30USD? I'm confused...
I have a GX700 which I bought after reading an entry-level case comparo here on Tom's. This is a much nicer looking case though, and probably perfect for what you pay.
To be honest you probably won't see any real-world improvements from overclocking. I have a sandybridge i7 and its hardly worth it for games. I only really see a difference when I'm benchmarking. But yeah you should be sweet running that setup.
I imagine you would be OK. That's still a reasonable CPU. Do you have any plans on overclocking the processor? You don't need to but that may get you some "free" CPU headroom.
Does the ASRock have a CLR_CMOS button on the motherboard or not? The specs table says it doesn't, but puts CLR_CMOS on the Internal Button list, and I can't quite make it out on the photo.
Haha. Yea you got me. I just get really thrown off when I read the forums that talk about the poor form of EA in the past 18-24 months. Surely if that many people say that they're no good, there has to be at least a sliver of truth to it yeah?
I'd just rather my hard-earned go towards a group of people like CDPR than Bioware/EA. I have never played the DA games, but the company behind tW series easily takes the cake for fan involvement and passion for a quality product/IP.
"Next generation of RPG"... Still released for 360/PS3. No thanks, I'll wait for The Witcher 3 with the added bonus of supporting a decent developer like CDProjektRED instead of EA.
DirectX is the only thing keeping the majority of PC gamers on Windows. I'm sure many of us would switch to a competing OS if there was minimal disruption to our game libraries. I just hope that by the time I need my next full upgrade there will be more love from game devs for the Linux platform.
