Hey, whats your CPU? if its intel or ryzen 7th gen, win 7 and 8 will block yourself from getting updates. If you got i5 no problem, but you got i7 or Ryzen 7 you might need to use a win update patcher.

ok. You gotta change the RAM to ATLEAST 4 gigs, or better 8 gigs. Windows 10 will be horrible on 2 gigs. Even at 8 gigs win10 is kinda laggy on my desktop. How did you even live with 2 gigs this whole time? I think if you swap your memory to 16 gigs your pc will be a blast. win 7 or win 10...

Well, not quite. Why when I go to control panel it says Windows 10 Pro? it should say Windows 2004 pro or some like that. Besides, these are just build versions. And yeah, win 10 in 2015 is quite different. So why not name build 2004 windows 11 or some you know?

Windows 10 is really good. Is just that I miss the aero interface and classic theme. I mean, if they hadn't removed the classic theme in Win 8 and 10....... Right now most of my computers run 10, 4 run server 2008/2019, 2 run win7 , 3 run 8.1, 1 runs XP, and an old one runs 98. I must admit...

It is possible that anytime Microsoft will pull the plug for Win 7. Not sure what I'm gonna do then... and for me its either Win 7 or 10. Win 8/8.1 is one of the worst if not THE WORST os out there. Rather have AVG and live with 7, until MS really stuffs Win 10 down my throat.

Oh really? Well I actually used the HP product key to activate Windows 7 on my Lenovo which had its COA sticker ripped off. And it worked and works. Weird

Well, make sure you get Intel or ryzen which is below 7th gen. Windows 7 and 8 updates have a kill switch which don't allow updates. Besides, if you don't like Win 10 there are apps that change the interface to Windows 7-ish to get that aqua feel. But i agree that Microsoft's forceful push to...
