You already have i5-3570 ... I think upgrading to current gen would be the better choice with ddr4. Go with something like Ryzen 3600 cpu and Asus B550 motherboard and Corsair ddr4 8gb x2 16gb.

If its possible go for 750Watts for additional headroom and futureproof.

Please don't buy MSI motherboard or GPU .. mainly for motherboard go with Asus or Gigabyte .. trust me I have Msi B450 Tomahawk with Ryzen 2600, the motherboard caused so much problems replaced it 2 times still have issues, I regret getting MSI motherboard.

Check the power supply, jump start the Psu after disconnecting all the components and only using the 24pin, and keep an eye on the Psu fan. Google search PSU jump star. How old is it?

Only thing I would suggest that get a ASUS or Gigabyte motherboard instead of MSI specially this Tomahawk, because I have this exact model with 2600, and this board have been giving me nightmares, replacement done 2 times.

Does this happens only when the Gpu is connected or it is happening with A10 7800 also ? If it is happening when 390x connected, then it is Gpu issue. Either clear install new driver for 390x and if the problem still happens with new driver then it is a hardware issue of Gpu.

How old is the PSU?, try changing the psu with different if you can manage to get one from friend or family.

How old is that power supply unit ? Maybe try reinstalling the graphics driver. And what motherboard?

The black screen might be caused by an outdated graphic driver or by a corrupted graphic driver file. If that's the case, then you can fix this problem by updating your drivers. Fresh install the Recent Display Driver.

Donno about OP's condition, but I have taken the components out so many times in this past 2weeks, resetting refitting rechecking every single things that there are not even a particle of dust either side of case fans blades.
