The compatibility tool will tell you you are not able to upgrade if you only have a TPM 1.2 module, but you will actually be able to. Windows will just give you a warning that it's 'not advised'. Same with older generation CPUs. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/compatibility/windows-11/
