    Question i7-11700KF @ 3.60GHz and Gigabyte Z490M performance ?

Go through your AC and DC Load Line settings and see how they're set. You can use HWiNFO for that.

    Question i7-11700KF @ 3.60GHz and Gigabyte Z490M performance ?

Run ThrottleStop and check for reasons for throttling. Please see my thread for the possible solution: https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/edp-other-throttling-saga-continues-11900k.3863582/

Question EDP OTHER throttling saga continues - 11900K

Just to let you know, I swapped the Noctua cooler to Liquid Freezer III 240 and now the CPU is hitting ~50.9 multiplier, on average when testing, so very close to full 51. Looks like it must have been also a bit temperature related. So the current Cinebench multi-core is 925 :).

Question EDP OTHER throttling saga continues - 11900K

I looked through Z590 boards and are there either bad ones that are at decent prices or good ones that are at unacceptable prices :). So, I found this very nice guide on setting everything for 13th & 14th gen, but it is very handy for 11th as well...

Question EDP OTHER throttling saga continues - 11900K

Well, I cannot post in that thread because it's closed. And back then I had a 8+1 board where I could accept some throttling. This one I believe shoud be able to provide enough current?

Question EDP OTHER throttling saga continues - 11900K

This is my story from the thread https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/i9-11900f-low-single-core-cinebench-2024-result-multi-core-seems-ok.3845242/ continued... With the help of @uWebb429 I managed to set my 11900K more or less correctly. But EDP throttling didn't let me sleep at night... :)...

Question Sound Card suggestions to avoid having to use Realtek ALC4080 ?

Nothing more than what is already in this thread, I guess 0016 is the last version for me.

Question Sound Card suggestions to avoid having to use Realtek ALC4080 ?

This is a very useful post, unfortunately only one (2021-11-25) of the files applies to my (B560-E) motherboard and does not solve the issue. I suppose it's hardware dependant. Are there any other version I could look for?

    [SOLVED] i9-11900F - - - low single-core Cinebench 2024 result, multi-core seems OK ?

900 breached :). This program is a godsend! To summarize - changes from the defaults (only relating to CPU settings): IA AC Load Line: [Auto] -> [0.3] IA DC Load Line: [Auto] -> [0.3] Intel Adaptive Boost Technology: [Auto] -> [Enabled] PL1 Power Limit -> [Auto] -> [250] PL1 Power Limit ->...

    [SOLVED] i9-11900F - - - low single-core Cinebench 2024 result, multi-core seems OK ?

We're getting there... Even got 895, so 900 is within reach... This is roughly 12600K level of performance. Important thing - you need to set Adaptive Boost to Enabled instead of Auto. All cores are boosting to 50.25 GHz, so close enough to 5.1 GHz.

    [SOLVED] i9-11900F - - - low single-core Cinebench 2024 result, multi-core seems OK ?

I'm not doing any critical work, if it crashes, then it crashes :). And any crash will result in increasing the value, so it will be OK at some point :). More voltage means more power, more heat, more noise, so I'd have it lowest possible. Power limits are at max already, but PL1 stopped...

    [SOLVED] i9-11900F - - - low single-core Cinebench 2024 result, multi-core seems OK ?

Sooo... I actually got a 11900K :). Long story, but it's sitting in my PC now. Unfortunately, results are slightly disappointing. Let's start with the results: Increases are like 2-3%, actually. I did the first test with default settings, CPU during the multi-core test in CB was an absolute...

    [SOLVED] i9-11900F - - - low single-core Cinebench 2024 result, multi-core seems OK ?

Have I just bought a 11900KF?! Maybe... :) Will post some info when I get it and sit down to testing... ASUS sent me info on their BIOS settings. Of course they wrote they used defaults.

    [SOLVED] i9-11900F - - - low single-core Cinebench 2024 result, multi-core seems OK ?

I do hope so. Difference in price is not justifiable for someone who wants to use discrete graphics card. I will do if I manage to find something at a decent price. That was the case with swapping i7-11700 for i9-11900F. I found one very cheap. I should be able to sell the i7 for more than I...

    [SOLVED] i9-11900F - - - low single-core Cinebench 2024 result, multi-core seems OK ?

Ahhh... Now you made me look for a 11900KF :). I know it does not make much sense financially and it's 3-5% performance increase at best, but it's fun to test new hardware and used ones are at decent prices now... Is silicon quality of K and KF the same? Ks are a bit too expensive and I don't...
