i give it a 8/10, if you want to add an SSD now you can switch the K CPu with a 4430/4460 and a h97 and remove the Aftermarket heatsink that way you save about 100$ and can purchase a 250+gb SSD, if you are planning on overclocking leave it as it is and just buy an SSD in the future, but let me...

The 740 is the superior card. its better in practically every category at the hardware level.

OP since you will be gaming at 768p for a while and are probably going to upgrade to a 23-24inch 1080p monitor i'd say a 280x will be more than enough, at that price i'd personally go 280x. oh yea even if you are gaming at 768p i recommend you use a Tool Called Gedosato which works will most dx9...

if you live in the US the r9 280x and 290 are only 10-20$ apart, so getting a r9 290 is the best possible choice that the price point, for 10-20$ more you will be getting about 30% more performance and maxing out every game at 1080p/1440p 60Fps, at 768p you will be getting 120+FPs on everygame...

a 960 is about 50-60% faster than a 750ti, anything 30% or more i'd consider worthy of upgrade.

why are people suggesting a r9 280 with a pentium that cant be overclock seriously are you guys mad? OP i suggest you get a r7 265 it goes for around 130-140$ atm and its a great card.

if you are running at 1080p/1440p resolution a single 970 or a single r9 290 will be more than enough to push 60FPs+ on max settings, there is no need to waste 600$ on a 980 at 1080p/1440p, i personally have a r9 290 + i7 and it maxes out every game at 1440p.

both those Psu are overkill in terms of power, all you need is a good 500-550w Psu if you are running a single GPu.

if you were on 50mbps before there is no way you should be getting 200-600kbps, it should've been between 5-6MB, there was something wrong even before you upgraded.

A Gtx 960 fits the Bill for your needs, its capable of 150+ FPS, from experience Nvidia tends to get higher FPS on CS;GO

the i3 will get Better FPS in every game when compared to a 860k. get the i3 4150 is 110$ on superbizz which is a good deal passmark scores are highly inaccurate, for example it says a 680 is faster than a 7990 which is not true.

personally i think a Xeon 1231v3 will suit you better than a 4790 since its cheaper and perform the same, overall you'd save about 100-125$ or so and we that extra $ you can get a SSD, i also recommend switching the Psu, they are better solutions for cheaper and same Price as the CX series.
