i already got the PC , and i got this MOBO as i plan to get SLI for 780 ( thats not now ) and have an 4790k or another 'k' i5 CPU in the future if the i7 is not worth it for gaming , so instead of buying another MOBO later i got one now so the only parts which would need changing are the CPU &...

sorry for late reply , and yes , i plan to have the 4690 for 2 years and watch as if ALL the games require the beast i7 cpu , then i will upgrade , but if not , then it was not worth it in the beginning and thanks all for the reply :)

Hello guys , my new rig is working perfectly , and my monitor is 23.6" PLS LED Samsung monitor ( model : S24D390HL ) , and it comes with some touch buttons and one of them is "Game Mode" , what does that do ? ( when i enable it , the colors seem .....has more light in it , dunno how to describe...

well from here it seems the MB does not support sli/Crossfire , but u can use GTX 780 or 780 ti on it : http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/video-card/?compatible_with=asus-motherboard-z87ipro#c=136,153

im not that much of an expert and the 770 is a pretty good card , but i think for more future proofing u should have got 780 ( or 780 ti ) or u could just sli 770 as i read it has pretty impressive results Also i think 1000 watt is a bit too much expensive when u could have gone with lower PSU...

well i read that the MOBO can support up to 2400 , the thing that worries me is the CPU , but from what i understand from u that nothing would happen to the cpu if the speed is automatically/manually reduced right ? another question : if it did not reduce the speed of the ram , how will i know...

thanks for answering , so if i put them together they will work with no problem ? ( and by problem i mean damage to a certain part of the build )
