BSOD can have all sorts of reasons even fluctuations on the power outlet. Also could be driver/software related, not always hardware. I would keep it this way untill you really run into more problems and then considder BIOS upgrade. Even then, look at the newer BIOS if it fixes the problem you...

General advice from motherboard makers is. If your Computer works fine do not upgrade your BIOS. There is always a risk when upgrading that something goes wrong. If so, you will need to buy a new Motherboard.

Depends on tue actual usage of your whole system (Computer + monitor, etc), not the wattage of your PSU. That you have a 650 Watt PSU doesn't mean your whole system uses 650 Watts, probably less. On this webpage you can get an indication of what your Computer might use...
