I feel like my motherboard may be bad. I find it unlikely for the m.2 and another component to fail at the same time unless one caused the other to fail. I am down to the cpu and motherboard right now as the only things that could be causing this. I doubt the cpu could cause the m.2 to fail...

The windows installer I used is a windows 10 USB bought from Microsoft. I swapped out my ram with some vengeance ddr4 2x8gb from an old pc and nothing changed. I swapped my 3070ti out for my old 1070 and again nothing changed. I checked every cable connection and it all seems to be fine

So after trying everything I could think of I fixed the problem by increasing my ingame settings. i had most on low before and when I maxed them out I no longer had any frame drops. I don't know why it worked but it did.

I am the only one is the house that has this problem though. Every time it happens my ping is around 20-30. And I feel like if it was a wifi problem I would have the same issues in other games.
