    1440p 144hz buy rog swift vs 4k 60hz with gtx 970 sli

If I were you I would get the Asus ROG Swift and a GTX 970. I say this because not many applications or software support 4k, making it hard to read due to the high resolution. Plus two GTX 970s won't be able to get good FPS at 4k. Look at these benchmarks...

Asus r9 280x will my 500 w psu can handle it?

I have the Sapphire R9 280x Toxic with a Corsair CX 600M PSU. With this I have little power left. I am unable to overclock my CPU due to this (unexpected shutdowns). The PSU you mentioned isn't very good. I would recommend a 600 watt from a reliable brand such a Seasonic just to be sure.

    £600 budget build

Thats an ok build. I wouldn't suggest going for the micro ATX motherboard though. Take a look at this build: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/KRbLbv I replaced the motherboard and GPU. For £30 more it's worth it. And I will suggest investing in a SSD for your operating system.

I my parents just upgraded the internet speed but now I can't connect to game servers but I can go on browsers etc.

It sounds like you need to open some ports. What router do you have? Did you receive a new one with the internet package? Have a look at this website: http://portforward.com/ It tells you what ports to open for what router you have and what games you want to play.

    R9 280X Toxic Temperature reach 45/80/90°C

That sounds about right. I have the same card as you. I was worried about the temps before I bought the card (reviews said it ran hot) but it's fine. I get around 75-80°C on BF4 after 2+ hours. Can I ask how much you paid? I'm thinking about selling mine

    4k Gaming Monitor Requirements

Hey guys, Basically I have saved up enough money to purchase a 4k monitor. After doing some research I found the Asus PB287Q would be suitable. I currently have 2 1080p monitors for coding, then only use one for gaming. I will mostly use my monitor for programming. I like the idea of being...

Please review this rig and give your advice/recommendations for any alteration

You might want to get an SSD for increased performance. Get a 120GB just for the OS or a 256GB for some games on there as well. Keep the 1TB for documents and stuff though. The GTX 760 won't be able to play Crysis 3 maxed out at 40-60 fps. You'd need a 770 or better a 780 for that. Also if...

Need help with my gaming desktop

Try uninstalling the drivers completely from your computer using a program like this and then re install them: http://www.guru3d.com/content-page/guru3d-driver-sweepe... There are others as well. The 7990 is one of the best GPUs out there now. It should be getting 60-70fps on Crysis 3 @1080p...

Need help with my gaming desktop

I'd say it's issues with the video card. 8GB RAM is plenty for gaming. Need more info though... Have you updated all your drivers for your graphics card? If you have installed Mantel try going back to 13.12. What resolution are you playing at? What temps are you getting?

Looking for a great full tower computer case that fits my budget.

Have a look at these: https://pcpartpicker.com/part/fractal-design-case-fdcadefxlr2bl https://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-case-750d I would say the corsair one is better. Able to fit a 280mm and 360mm radiators if you have water cooling and has a window if you like that style.

    Intel Core i5 4670K Overclock

Follow this guide: http://www.overclockers.com/3step-guide-to-overclock-intel-haswell The basic principles are the same - voltage, raising the multiplier, etc. It's just finding them settings in your motherboard BIOS. Have a look online to see if there is a tutorial for your motherboard.

    Universal Water Blocks

Hello, Has anyone had any experience with universal water blocks? I currently have a r9 280x toxic and want to go crossfire. I also want to build a full water cooling loop to go in a 750d. I can't find any dedicated VGA water block for my card so I have found these universal ones: 2 x...
