    Personally I keep mine separate so that I am sure the OS has room to "breathe" If you get the main drive with the OS filled it can seriously slow the system down. I generally try to run my games off of SSDs as well and for the moment the OS is on a HDD

    Most are double sided to allow for daisy chaining the fans plugs. Be sure to look at the other side to verify that it isn't a female end.

    It should be just fine. Just make sure you keep the same boot sequence.

    I have 2 120GB SSDs both the same company and the bios sees them both but when I boot up windows (fresh install) It only sees the drive I put windows on.
