    This gives me a lot of hope. Thank you. I was going insane. It happened only when data is being read/written from/to the drives. Regardless segate support said it will replace since they are under warranty but I don't want to go through the hassle as they are very new. Thank you again.

    I have checked online. A lot of them suggest HFS+ for HDDs Since APFS is better suited to work on SSDs and will cause stress for HDDs

    Is this normal? The HDDs are connected to a MacBook Air M1 via a USB C HDD enclosure. Stardom i310-B31 I connected with Seagate Support and the customer agent says that it needs to be replaced. For people who cannot see the video please view it here: Imgur Link

    Yes, I looked at "remove applications". I use an app called "AppCleaner" by Free Mac Soft. So that does the job. I mostly use safari. I have Chrome and Edge installed as well, but I only use those when Safari is not able to handle something properly.
